Academic Standards &
Grading Framework
Grades at Biscayne Bay Preparatory Academy reflect real learning, not seat time, not participation, and not compliance.
We use a standard letter-based grading scale that meets Florida state requirements. A grade of D or higher earns course credit toward graduation.

No Class Rankings
We do not assign class rankings. Students move at their own pace and graduate on individual timelines — each measured against a standard, not against each other.
workspace_premium Weighted Courses & Honors
Our curriculum rewards advanced coursework with weighted GPA points to reflect the rigor of the material. Students taking AP®, Honors, or Dual Enrollment courses receive additional quality points.
